Children
It has been a great year for the Children’s Ministry with many exciting first. All of these “first” are possible by all of the hands that serve each Sunday, Wednesday, and special events. I feel truly blessed to work with such a great team this year and anxious to see what God brings in 2012.
Looking Back at 2011
· Had our highest attendance to summer camp with 20 kids attending North Georgia Christian Camp.
· Kicked off FX (Family Experience) Events with Vacation Bible School
Family Night.
· Raised funds for water filters for Zambia ( in support of Activewater) by hosting a community walk and celebration.
· Kicked off the High Adventure Leadership Team.
· Created the “Dive Station” to promote safe check in process for our
children.
· Purchased paging system for the nursery to be able to reach parents.
Looking Forward – Vision 2012
· Construction of the Dive Station in the preschool hallway.
· Completion of several remodeling projects to enhance the environment of our children’s rooms.
· Quarterly FX (Family Experience) worship services.
· Grades 4th and 5th to attend Christ in Youth – Super Start Event!
· Periodic Fellowship Events – special outings for the children.
· Adding additional creative art elements to the 10:30 hour to allow
students to hear the message on all the elements of learning.
